Ways to Start an Online Practice

One very quick way to get started in online therapy is to join one of the new virtual "clinics." These e-therapy megasites have been created to offer you an excellent technological environment for e-therapy, with security and practice management features that would be too expensive for most therapists to implement on their own. Using their templates, you can set up shop very quickly. You can't be as creative as you could if you were building your own site, but it's easier and less expensive to start. If you want more individuality and freedom of expression, and are willing to bear the additional cost, you can have a website created for you by a professional. If you choose this path, I highly recommend that you read all the pages in this section, AND show them to your web designer.
